Granberg makes the Alaskan chainsaw mill, which turns a chainsaw into a portable sawmill so you can cut slabs and boards where the log lies. The Alaskan MkIV comes in sizes from 24" to 84", either as a complete mill or as a basic mill with a separate handle and rail set. There's also a small log mill and an edging mill.
Your first cut needs a flat guide for the mill to ride on. That's what the EZ-Rails (5ft and 10ft), the connector kit and the slabbing rail brackets are for. For the saw itself, there's ripping chain on 100ft reels (3/8" pitch in .050", .058" and .063", and .404" pitch in .063"), extra long bars from 54" to 84", and double ended bars from 50" to 96", each matched to a specific mill kit.
The range also covers Granberg's 12 volt sharpeners (Dual Sharp, Grind N Joint, Precision Grinder and SawTune), file guides, grinding wheels, the Alaskan winch, an auxiliary oiler kit, and spare parts for the mills. Find your local dealer.
