Stump Vices

A stump vice lets you sharpen your chain where you're working. Set it into a stump or log, clamp the bar in it and file away, with no trip back to the ute.

The Archer and JAK Max standard vices are cast alloy with extended legs for stability and a screw lock to hold the bar. They have a bright powder coat, so they're easy to spot on the bush floor. The Tecomec vice adds a chain stop and locks the chain as you tighten it, which saves fiddling as you move from tooth to tooth.
